Paint companies… Are they all the same?
I’m José Coronado, owner of BX Pro Paints, but before anything else, I’m just a human being.
This is my first blog, and I want it to be exactly that: not a marketing ad, not a list of services, but an expression of thought.
Every day..in life, in business, in family, we try to be perfect in an imperfect world. And in that effort, we sometimes forget something essential: behind every service, behind every transaction, behind every handshake, there are people. People who feel, who worry, who want the best not only for themselves but sometimes for those around them too.
Now, what does that have to do with painting? Maybe more than we think. Because the truth is, painting is just the surface. The real job is what happens between people, the trust, the communication, the sense that someone is truly listening. The industry is full of slogans: “Free estimates. Call now. Best price guaranteed.” But when I look at it, I ask myself: where’s the human part?
I don’t want BX Pro Paints to just be another company that paints walls. I want it to be a company where people feel they are treated as people. Where the conversation is as important as the finish on the wall. Where the job ends not with “payment received,” but with the satisfaction that someone’s home feels more like their home.
That’s my reflection today. Maybe it’s not the typical “first blog post.” Maybe it doesn’t have a clear answer. But that’s fine—life isn’t always about having the perfect formula. It’s about asking the right questions.
So I ask you: in a digital world filled with noise, influencers, and artificial intelligence, what does it mean to connect as humans? For me, it means writing this. It means painting with honesty. It means being imperfect, yet striving to do the job perfectly for others.
This is just the start. Let’s see where it goes.
